Marbella FC failed to secure any points in their match against CE Sabadell this afternoon. While the Marbella side were fighting for three points to keep their hopes of playing in the Primera RFEF next season alive, the Catalan team was chasing the league lead.

The match seemed to be going Marbella's way after the visitors' Kaiser was sent off in the fourth minute for stopping a clear attack by Víctor Sánchez. However, the Marbella team struggled to create scoring opportunities.

The home side dominated possession, but their shots on target were few and far between in the first half. Their best chance fell to Escassi, who pounced on a loose ball in the box but couldn't get any power into it. Sabadell offered little threat, but came close to scoring with a free kick that struck the post.

After the break, it was time to press for a goal and as the minutes passed, it was Marbella who were attacking and dangerously entering the area but without managing to test Fuoli.

Marbella had the victory in the 74th minute, when Cambra found himself in a one-on-one situation but could not beat the visiting goalkeeper.

Marbella continued to press, but the goal didn't come and Sabadell took advantage of a recovery up front to quickly mount an attack that ended with the final 0-1.

A goal that practically condemns Marbella to play next season in the 2nd RFEF.
