Marbella FC suffered a defeat this afternoon in their match against Juventud de Torremolinos. The home side dominated possession but failed to capitalize on their chances in front of goal.

In this match, Marbella's coach, David Cabello, has opted to introduce several changes, giving the starting position to Fede Barrios in goal and also starting Álex Carbonell, Lluìs Llàcer and Alexiel.

Marbella started the game very well, with a strong presence from the forwards and several good scoring opportunities, first for Dani Selma and then for Alexiel.

The two best scoring opportunities of the first half were a header from Dani Selma that hit the post and a backheel shot from Llàcer that was cleared off the line by the visiting defense.

The left-back had a strong presence in the home team's attack, well supported by Cambra, Selma and Alexiel.

With the game heading towards a draw, in the final stretch of the first half, in a second play after a corner kick in their favor, Juventud de Torremolinos took the lead on the scoreboard.

In the second half, Álex Carbonell and José Cambra were the most active in attack, but again they failed to find the back of the net.

The home coach made changes, giving minutes to Gabri Clemente, Jorge Álvarez, Tomi, Tahiru and the youth player Dani Orozco.

With Marbella pushing hard for an equalizer, their best chance came in stoppage time when Dani Orozco unleashed a powerful shot from the edge of the box that was deflected by a defender. With no time left, Juventud de Torremolinos secured the victory at the Banús Football Center.
