Marbella Football Club announces that José Manuel Carrasco has become the new first-team manager. Our captain, having decided to retire from professional football, will remain associated with the club in this new role, which will improve the structure of the first team.

Carrasco (Antequera, Málaga; January 27, 1988) will assume the responsibilities of first-team management and team manager, such as managing the needs of our squad during matches and training sessions; advising on sporting and logistical matters for both players and the coaching staff; and, ultimately, professionalizing the daily dynamics of the locker room.

Our new first-team manager arrived at Marbella FC in the 2022/23 season, achieving double promotion from Third Division to First Division RFEF and playing almost seventy official matches.

Since joining the team, the Antequera native has become one of the leaders in the locker room thanks to his commitment, dedication, and professionalism.

For Marbella FC, it is a privilege to have Carrasco's experience at the service of our club.
