Marbella FC has taken a point from its visit to CF Intercity. It was an even match, with chances for both teams and in which goalkeeper Eric Puerto stood out.

Marbella coach Abel Segovia made changes to the team, giving Marcos Olguin a starting role on the right wing and forming the centre of defence with Moussa and Yac Diori. In the centre of the field, Marcos Peña returned to the starting line-up and was well accompanied by Edwards and Soto. Up front, Callejón, Ohemeng and Dorian were the attacking team.

The Marbella team was superior in the first half, with good attacks on the right flank where Ohemeng and Marcos Olguin connected well to create superiority and gain the back line. However, these attacks did not translate into dangerous crosses to finish.

The home side barely appeared in attack and limited themselves to waiting for Marbella to attack in order to try to counterattack. On the only occasion they stepped into the Marbella area, they came up against a formidable Eric Puerto who made a double intervention to keep their goal at zero.

The match was goalless at half-time. After the break, the home side managed to readjust themselves successfully to be a greater threat to the Marbella goal.

The defense managed to contain Intercity's attacks well, and Eric Puerto once again proved to be the savior with a great save down low, as the game was heading into its final stretch.

For the visitors, Soto provided some nice touches to guide Marbella's attack and Callejón had the best chance with a shot from inside the area that the home goalkeeper cleared for a corner kick.

Marbella pressed hard in the final minutes but failed to create any chances. In the end, a goalless draw put an end to the run of goals conceded by the Marbella side, who saw Zequi Díaz, Fermín Ruiz and Álex López make their debuts with the team tonight.
