Statements by David Cabello

According to coach David Cabello: "When we arrived, we were excited to try and bring this project to fruition, but it hasn't been possible, and now we have three games ahead of us that we have to face and that won't be easy," said David Cabello.

Two of these three matches will also be at La Dama de Noche, "it's a shame that we haven't been able to get other results, having these matches at home. But we haven't been able to make La Dama a fortress."

With nothing at stake, "we're approaching the match to put on a good show and try to defend this badge with pride," the Malaga coach stated, adding that "we're considering making changes. There are teammates who have worked well but haven't had that opportunity in recent weeks."

In this regard, Cabello commented that "it's not easy to motivate the group after a tough week" and that's also why he repeated that "there are guys who haven't participated as much as they would have liked, who want to play and show their best version."

Furthermore, the team is facing a growing number of absences, so there will not only be changes involving first-team players but also "some youth players will participate. Our intention is for them to be able to be with us."

Juventud de Torremolinos has indicated that "they are playing for their chances of maintaining their category."

"They have a lot at stake, but we also have our pride at stake, to defend this profession as it deserves, and we have to be professional until the last day."

Finally, he wanted to talk about the future of the club, saying, "The club has an ownership that for many years has made a very important financial effort with a serious and solid project."

"It's true that this year the results haven't gone as we all expected, but we have to get excited again," the manager pointed out, adding that "I'm sure next year's project for Marbella will be ambitious again and they will try to achieve promotion back to the category that this city deserves at the very least."
